Distribution agreement with Konya Şeker for Ankara region
We signed an agreement with Konya Şeker to market and distribute their products in our Ankara area. Konya Şeker manufactures various candies and chocolates. The target we set for this agreement is to develop an efficient marketing strategy in order to increase awareness and market share of their products. We are happy to note that although we have just begun to market and distribute said products, the present figures are satisfactory for both parties. Değişim will do its best to improve this partnership and to expand the sales of said products.
Değişim Group Area Champion Award 2007
Area champion award has become part of our culture as the regional meetings did. During the dealers meeting held in Hon Kong by Reckitt Benckiser, our major business partner, Değişim Group’s Samsun Area Office won awards in 4 different categories and ranked as our most successful area office too. This success achieved by Samsun Area Office in 2007 will be remembered as one of the most pleasant notes in Değişim’s history. It is our pleasure to congratulate the management staff and all other employees of our Samsun Area Office for their success and hard work and to recommend them to keep up good work.
Van Area Office and Çorum Area Office ranked as the second and third most successful offices respectively. It is another pleasure for us to congratulate them for their success and hard work and to recommend them to keep up good work.
Assessment meeting 2007
Değişim Group’s assessment meeting 2007 was held at Marin Princess Hotel in Kumburgaz on February 14 to 16, 2008 with all members of our management staff.
Haydar Ekinci, chairman of the board, started the meeting by delivering a speech. It was followed by presentations made by the area offices, where their management executives explained their sales and growth data, and their finance managers explained analyses conducted on their financial statements. At the end of the meeting, group management executives consolidated all these data, analyzed the sales and financial figures and assessed 2007. It was noted that the targets set for 2007 were achieved, that both our company and our business partners are happy to observe this fact and that our market share expanded. In conclusion, we shall continue to grow in accordance with our rules and principles by keeping on respecting ourselves, our business partners and customers and by raising our quality standards. All actions for 2008 were scheduled and growth rate was set as 28%.
Değişim Group raises quality standard for logistics
This is a project realized in cooperation with Reckitt Benckiser to raise the quality standard for logistics to highest level in order to satisfy 1* retail customers, 2* manufacturers, 3* employees, 4* shareholders.
The following motto was selected for this journey to quality: “EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON YOU, ESPECIALLY QUALITY”.
Led by our chairman of the board, this project is realized in various stages; the present stage is to calculate the actual positions of our area offices. In the next stage, we shall determine the fields which need to be improved, develop action plans to solve the problems observed in said fields, find answers to the questions “WHO WILL DO WHAT, HOW AND WHEN” in order to perfect this company’s quality level, and reach the level we aim in late June 2008. The project consists of 12 stages divided into 3 categories. The category captioned PRIORITY FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE consists of the following stages;

All of this company’s departments will be reorganized and standardized, and activities proved to be correct will be internalized in order to perfect the quality level of logistics in accordance with the targets set. Logistics Department of our business partner Reckitt Benckiser shows us the way for these stages, and we monitor the steps taken together with them.
Değişim Group assessment meeting 2007
Annual assessment meeting of Değişim Group will be held at Marin Princess Hotel in Kumburgaz on February 14 to 16, 2008.
During this meeting, sales and financial statements for 2007 will be analyzed and reviewed. Group management executives and area offices’ management executives will attend the meeting. Area management executives will make presentations to analyze sales and financial data, thereafter group management executives will review the consolidated statements to assess 2007. Furthermore, expectations, targets, collections, projects, efficient route organization in the field and raising the logistics quality standards will be discussed.
Değişim’s Samsun Area Office was honored in Hong Kong
Değişim’s Samsun Area Office won awards in the following categories thanks to the results it achieved in 2007, during the meeting held by our business partner Reckitt Benckiser in Hong Kong;
Highest growth in Turkey
Highest sales of Calgon in Turkey
Highest sales of Veet in Turkey
Highest sales of Kosla in Turkey
and took these trophies home. All necessary actions for 2008 were scheduled to achieve the targets set for each and every category, so that we are determined to keep up good work and to grow with confidence. It is our pleasure to thank everybody who contributed to this success.
Meeting organized by Reckitt Benckiser in Hong Kong
Reckitt Benckiser, our major business partner, organized a dealers meeting in November last year in Hong Kong. This meeting was attended by representatives of other countries too. The fact that 2007 was a successful year in terms of sales and achievement of the targets helped to create a positive atmosphere for both said partner and us. Değişim Group was happy to have obtained successful results and won awards for them. It was a thrill and joy to stand on the platform for champions, to declare that champions will never stop, and to prove that hard work always pays.

Green light from Ataman Ecza
As part of our continuous growth, we shook hands with Ataman Ecza to add them into our portfolio for our Istanbul (Asian Side) Area. Değişim Group would like to express its happiness to have Ataman Ecza as a business partner. They manufacture wet tissues and personal care products in the pharmacological industry. Now we market and distribute their products in Asian side of Istanbul. The fact that sales figures for said products are increasing since day one is a good proof of their quality level. Değişim Group is determined to continue to satisfy its business partners and to be a trademark for the best trademarks in accordance with its basic business philosophy.
Değişim Group Evaluation Meeting for 2006
The traditional Annual Group Meeting shall be established in Burcclub Hotel, Selcuk/IZMIR this year. The meeting shall be materialized with the participation of Group Administrators and Regional Administrators in order to evaluate the results for sales and finance in 2006. 2006 has been a very good and active year in Değişim Group regarding the sales and finance. Separate presentations shall be made in the meeting by the regional sales and financial administrators for 2006 evaluation and the Group on the other hand shall make consolidated evaluations. With the consolidated regional growth volume resulting good, we enjoyed increasing both our own company's and our partners' shares in the sector and profitability. The sectoral developments and expectations, the establishment of new sales strategies, the issuing of the goals for the New Year and the expectations from the year 2007 shall be discussed in the meeting.
We shook hands with Tukaş for new regions
We shook hands with Tukaş, the distributorship of which our company has been performing in Çorum, Samsun and Van regions, for Thrace and Eastern (Anatolian) Side of Istanbul Regions. The sales and distribution has already started in the cities and districts of Kırklareli, Tekirdağ and Edirne in Thrace region. The sales and distribution in cities and districts of Izmit, Adapazarı, Bolu and Düzce in Anatolian Side of Istanbul shall begin as of March. Growing in the product portfolio regionally and in turnover with this project shall contribute a lot to us and our business partner.
L'OREAL started the New Year Assertively
Our partnership with L'OREAL, one of the leader companies in the cosmetics sector, has started in October 2006 and it was met with joy both at our company and at L'OREAL when the goals were reached and the end-of-the-year financial figures turned out to be well. In the first month of the year, a success exceeding the goal defined was obtained. We wish to show this success also for the rest of the year and to maintain our contention in the cosmetics sector.
Technological Collaboration with Our Business Partner Reckitt Benckiser
As Değişim Group, having the necessary infrastructure to conform to various systems and technologies today minimized our work load while increasing our confidence. In this regard, transfer to Enroute Plus System has been established in all regions with our great business partner Reckitt Benckiser. When we look at the facilities provided to both sides by this system: the orders are taken not on paper but electronically, the reporting became fast and reliable, the producer firm can get reports as they wish, instantaneous monitoring of sales and stocks and many others. We feel proud to have a substructure which renews itself continuously and provides its partners with the details required instantaneously.
The Evaluation Meeting for 2006 was Held in Izmir
The traditional Annual Group Meeting was held in Selcuk/IZMIR this year with the participation of Group Administrators and Regional Administrators. The inauguration speech of the meeting was given by Mr. Haydar EKINCI, Değişim Group Chairman of The Board. The Chairman, while making an evaluation of 2006, stressed the sectoral growth and developments, and at the same time, expressed the importance and the sensitivity of the year 2007. Mr. Ekinci quoted:
21 % growth, when compared to 2005, was materialized also in consolidated. I would like to state that I am thankful to all employees for their contributions. If we evaluate this growth in the light of the process we are in, it is a serious growth according to the market conditions. I am very happy to work with such a young and professional staff. I was always extremely touched by working with staffs, which believe in team spirit, prefer "we made it" to "I made it" and act in accordance with the company philosophy. This success is one which was contributed to by all individuals to include any one from the lowest rank to the highest level administrator. We shall maintain that stability in the coming years, too. Success shall be our name. We shall make Değişim a brand in the sector. This growth is not only our growth but also that of our partners, too. Affecting the profitability through increasing their shares in the sector and, the most important of all, as Değişim, upon investing trust in respect of the brand, representing our partners very well in the real markets made us very happy. Today, with our product portfolio, we are a company performing the distributorship of companies that are leaders in their own areas of concern in the sector. It is necessary to acknowledge the importance of that. Because, each and every one of them is another experience for us. The values each one of them adds to us are very considerable. If we want to grow together with the producer institutions, we shall continue in our direction without concession in our corporate culture, understanding and personality. We may not have the possibility of losing. The days we shall constitute the sole company undertaking the sales and distribution of many of our partners shall come. This is our claim in the sector. We shall reach a growth rate of 30 % in the growth index in 2007, when compared to the previous year. We shall work on very serious projects without dropping our guard and introduce good results. As Değişim Group, we shall maintain our understanding of providing qualified services at high standards. I reiterate my thanks to everybody.
Değişim Group Has Elected The Champion of the Regions
The last step in our traditional annual meeting is electing the champion among the regions. The Anatolian Region, which became the champion in 2005, maintained its claim in the first half of 2006. They were very close with Thrace Region until the first half of the year. The European Branch, which was the closest pursuer of the two, took over both regions in the last quarter of the year and was elected the Champion of the Regions. The European Region, the Champion, was followed by Thrace Region and the Anatolian Region, second and the third respectively.
Furthermore, the European Region and the Anatolian Region received the title of "best collection of revenues" for the year 2006 and they qualified for award in this title. In addition, the crystal plaques, with "Değişim Group Vision" inscribed on them, prepared by Ankara Region, were presented as a gift to the administrators of the other regions.
